Delete my data - Mononote

There are only two kinds of data connected to Mononote: your notes, which never leave your phone, and your purchase history, which only exists if you bought Mononote Pro.

Your notes

Your active note and everything in the archive are stored only on your device, encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore. They are never sent to us and they are never uploaded to a server, so there is nothing on our side to delete.

To remove them:

Deleted notes cannot be recovered by us. If you want to keep them, use Export inside the app first.

Your purchase history

If you bought Mononote Pro, two companies hold a record of that purchase: Google LLC, which processed the payment through Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat, Inc., which holds the receipt and an anonymous app-user identifier so the app can restore your Pro entitlement after a reinstall or on a new phone.

To have the RevenueCat record deleted, email

dobrzanskioscillator@gmail.com

from the address you would like us to act on, and say that you want your Mononote purchase record deleted. Then:

  1. We will ask Google Play for the order identifier needed to locate the record.
  2. We delete the RevenueCat customer record.
  3. We confirm by email when it is done.

Two things worth knowing before you ask. Deleting the record ends your ability to restore Mononote Pro without buying it again. And Google keeps its own transaction records independently of us, for tax and refund purposes - to deal with those, contact Google Play support.

Everything else

There is nothing else. Mononote has no account, no sign-up and no cloud. It collects no name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, calendar, photos, files or messages, no advertising or device identifier, no usage analytics and no crash reports. If you never opened the Pro screen, Mononote has never transmitted anything at all, and there is nothing for anyone to delete but the app itself.

The full detail is in the Mononote privacy policy.
